And Apathy's Next Top Model is..... whatever. After they booted Jenah I couldn't care less. As soon as I heard that Saleisha had modeled on the Tyra Banks Talk Show Featuring Tyra Banks as Your Tyra Banks Talk Show Hostess Twinkie I knew she was going to win, so these last four or five episodes were tedious. She obviously got picked to be on the show and win it. Oh please don't let the judges walk out onto the runway at the beginning of the "fashion show".... Damn!! I hate this show. I can't wait until next cycle.

What happened to the little mini challenges they used to do at panel?
What happened to having an actual REAL runway show on the finale....with an actual audience?
Did Tyra really just walk the runway in the contestants challenge with a stupid umbrella over her? Really?!
I am seriously at a loss...

Thu, December 13, 2007 - 7:51 AMUgh... I forgot the episode as soon as it was over. Worst finale ever. Both girls bored me. If Jenah did the runway we'd have a real competition. I don't get the whole "is she covergirl AND high fashion" is getting old. Obviously it's more important that their a covergirl since they pretty much run the show. I'm just really annoyed after watching the Britain's NTM, which was sooooooooooooooooooooo much better. There was as sponsor, but not once did they have to do challenges/photo shoots/commercials hawking it during the show. It's just an hour long commercial now. :P -

That was so fucking horrendous. Now, I love that Saleisha took that amazing picture last episode. I do. That doesn't mean she should have won then and there. I am still shocked/pissed that Chantal made it to the end. I totally agree that it might have been a real(-ish) competition if Jenah made it to the runway. That girl could walk. The fact that they called Wonk first to be in the final two just kind of floored me. I still think she should have been eliminated at Baby's Breath.

I do think it was funny that a minute before the stilt walker incident I asked, "When are they going to have a final runway show where one of these ladies falls?" Chantal didn't eat it, but it was close enough.
But it still didn't do enough for me. I'm not sure about all of this anymore, y'all. I was more entertained by the 20 minutes of Crowned we watched than by the last half of this entire cycle. That show is trash at its finest. -

I love seeing the models become more "present" in front of the camera, I love seeing the locations, I guess I am just naive, but I even find Tyra entertaining. I love a woman who is willing to be foolish sometimes and not always play it safe. I think in order to be this successful in business, way more than just modeling, you have to have an amazing ego....

I was throughly entertained, too. I loved the runway. Loved the dresses they wore.
Now, I was shocked that Chantal went through, but... Jenah needed to be "broken down" before now in order to make it. I, too, like watching the girls grow. I loved how bitchy they were and then how they all kinda gelled with each other. I felt the relationships between the girls were more... authentic this cycle than any others.
I'll be back, too.
And I thought Tyra looked *fierce*.

I know people were moving to help him/her/it back up, but that would take a few seconds. And I started screaming at the YouTube when the judges were walking down the runway. Except for Nigel. I grew deadly quiet for that part.
The show is still good for wasting part of my work day on YouTube, but I'd feel cheated if I was paying for cable to watch it. Of course, then I'd also get to see the My Life As A Product Whore commercials....
