yes, same type cast, same everything. Let's hope the shoots are good this year to make up for it. I personally don't like any of them. And what's up with the squished-faced blond. Favorite quote, "People think I am just a dumb blond, but I am really down to earth." LOL!

yeah, i had a real problem with that too. First, it's "I hate you because you called me ghetto even though I was totally acting ghetto" then it's "But, now I feel sad for you even though I'm not totally sure what all of this means"

i only hope that it will not be beat to death like the asperber's. however, i realize that it will since it's ANTM.

I agree: Marvita = Bitch! In fact I think I may have blurted out "bitch" in every shot focusing on her.

I hate that we needed to know all of Fatima's business. I also hate how it feels like these girls HAVE TO come in with some pitiful story about being molested, raped, or otherwise sexually abused in order to get on this show. Perhaps (and I know this is an awful statement) Shalynda, the girl who tried out 8 times should've wised up and said she was molested at a young age so she could make the cut this time. It feels like they ask them 7 questions, and if they answer those 7 successfully, Tyra's next question is: "So tell us ______, have you ever been raped, sexually abused or suffered a great tragedy in your life?"

Now, back to Shalynda. I'm still loving the little argument between her and Fatima about being called a bitch. I loved the look on Fatima's face when Shalynda confirmed that she was in fact a bitch, and then asked her if she could call her one. That was both Classy and Classic. So far, Fatima is my favorite but I can see that she is a little fake. What I'm really loving about this season is the diversity in the TYPES of black girls on the show. Not necessarily in shade, but in personalities:

We have Stacey-Ann who, let's face it, is Reese Witherspoon from "Legally Blonde" dipped in chocolate.

We have (that bitch) Marvita who is kinda funky <shade> in the face </shade> and SF eclectic.

We have Atalya who...well I can't figure out who she is because I don't think they showed her interview but it seems like she's Reese Witherspoon from from "Legally Blonde 2" dipped in chocolate... Oh did I say something earlier about diversity? Well, nevermind.

And lastly Fatima, an actual factual African-American. Growing up in New Orleans, I've witnessed odd social struggles between Portugese and Brazilians, between Puerto Ricans vs. Mexicans, vs. Spanish, and "Korean vs. Vietnamese vs. Laotian" so it will be interesting to see how this whole "Black American girls don't seem to like me" thing with Fatima plays out.

Ok so now onto people I can't believe didn't make the cut:

* Shaya - Why couldn't they let Mohammad Ali's lil' cousin in? Why did we need 2 black Reese Witherspoons. Maybe they got Shaya and Atalya's names mixed up, 'cause she was cute and she got robbed.

* Marguerite - Why give us an over-tanned smush-faced blonde when we could've had peaches-n-cream? What are they, blind?

* Kristen - I thought for sure that she was going to get picked. Too bad all the blank spots went to celebrity or former contestant look-a-likes...

It's cute that Lauren made it onto the show with her "quirky" look. But if I wanted to relive the beauty that was Martha Plimpton, I would just put "Goonies" in my Netflix queue.

If Marvita wins it's going to be because the other girls all disappeared into her nostrils. Seriously, she has the biggest nostrils I have ever seen. And did all the girls have bad skin or was it my TV? They have definitley picked prettier girls in past seasons. I liked the girl with one side of her head shaved, she had that skater boy haircut and was talking about her breast milk. She's unusual looking so I think she'll etiher photograph fantasticly or be totally hideous.
