Elyse Sewell's blog has her latest photos from shoots in Korea (low quality scans, but fun to see nonetheless!). Hard to believe, but the 2nd photoswith the American jumpsuit is made by Chanel (the bow too). I don't who else here follows her blog, but I like to check and get caught up and it sounds like she's a busy girl in Korea and will then go back to Hong Kong in a few weeks. I love her cultural shots as much as her "behind the scenes" fashion ones. :)

Thu, March 27, 2008 - 10:01 AMShe was my favorite from the first cycle. I bet Tyra and Ken Mok are kicking themselves for not making her the winner. I always wonder if the show would've been legitimate all the cycles afterward if Elyse had won. -

Thu, March 27, 2008 - 6:53 PMElyse wouldv'e been the winner but she pretty much *gave* the ANTM win to Adrienne Curry out of friendship (and perhaps also pity). She intentionally pissed off the judges during the finale panel, insinuating that modeling required very little IQ and that she could care less if she won. Tyra and Janice told her she was stuck up and sent her packing.
For many years Elyse ceased to exist in Tyra's eyes. It wasn't until last year (Cycle 8 I think) that Elyse started showing up in the opening credits montage. No doubt Tyra's own ego led her to capitalize on Elyse's fame in Asia, books, blog, and (formerly) long-term relationship with one of The Shins.

It is really interesting to see her images of cultural food and ads and her getting ready for shoots.
I love that she didnt win, but is really working as a real model anyways.

so on the subject of real models has anyone noticed that eugenia from caridee's season has been in the most recent target ad? the one that starts with the family eating digiorno? who would've thought she would land in a commercial considering that they kept dissing her during the whole season.
the moral of the story is that it really pays not to win ANTM.
